Metropolitan Community Church of Detroit and Triangle Foundation are looking for Same-Gender couples willing to make a political statement by celebrating their love in a commitment ceremony to be held in the City of Ferndale on June 4, 2005.
 
The ceremony will be officiated by Rev. Mark G. Bidwell, Senior Pastor of MCC Detroit and the City of Ferndale Mayor, Bob Porter.
 
The ceremony will take place at the Ferndale City Hall on June 4, 2005 at 2:00PM. There will be two instructional classes on Saturday May 14th and 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. that couples must attend prior to the ceremony. The two classes will contain information regarding the ceremony and legal issues relating to the ceremony.
 
Cost will be $100 per couple and will include a certificate, program, photos, flowers and cake.  Fees will be due by June 3.
